Level 1 Award in ISL

This qualification is designed to teach learners to communicate with Deaf people in Irish Sign Language (ISL)on a range of topics that involve simple, everyday language use.  They will gain basic skills and confidence production and reception of ISL.  The specification has been designed using the UK Occupational Language Standards 2010 at Level 1.  The course is delivered in 3 units:

unit 101 - Introduction to ISL, optional exam fee €40.00

unit 102 - Conversational ISL, optional exam fee €65.00

unit 103 - Communicate in ISL about everyday life, optional exam fee €65.00

Scheduled - 30 weeks - Wednesday 13th September, 2017 - 7.30-9.00pm
